Condolence From: Ed and Judy Heffern
Condolence: Judy and family: We are sorry to hear of your loss. Jim had come by our house in 2005 and talked with our son Colin, who had recently sustained a C4 spinal injury which left him paralyzed below the shoulders. Colin had just come home to Cheyenne after 3 months of rehab at Craig Hospital. Jim was so encouraging during a dark period in our son's life. Colin eventually returned to Colorado State, did grad work at USC in Los Angeles, and currently is a landscape architect for the National Park Service in Denver. Meeting people like Jim made the difference in Colin's being able to adapt to the changes in his life.
