Joan M. (Jarvis) Schnur, 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

Joan was born April 3, 1949, in Wild Rose, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Wayne and Jo Ann (Ten Haken) Jarvis. She attended school in Sheboygan Falls and Sheboygan, and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1967.

Joan had a great passion for reading and learning, enjoyed walking her dogs, and loved visiting the beach. She was a loving mother and grandmother and her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Joan is survived by four children, Dylan Eigenberger and wife, Erika, of Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Luke Eigenberger of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, Sarah (Eigenberger) Riggans of Hilliard, Ohio, and Donna Schnur of Cheyenne; and five grandchildren, Kayah Gillen, Alaric and Holden Eigenberger, and Addison and Brady Riggans.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Cacciotti.

Joan wished for private family services. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home in Cheyenne. Contributions in memory of Joan may be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
