Robert Harvey Golden, 61, formerly of Cheyenne, passed away April 26, 2017.

He was born August 22, 1955.

He is survived by wife, Julie; sons, Brian Golden (Erin), Christopher Wells (Amina) and Carl Gregory (Tamiko); brother, Lee McKay (Annie); sister, Rose Anna Henny (Leo); grandchildren, Brittney Jackson, Jasmyn Hopkins, Shawn Hopkins, Alana Hopkins, Anthony Hopkins, Makayla Jackson-Gregory, Kennedy Jackson-Gregory and Noah Wells. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Marilyn Oetjen (John, deceased); brother-in-law, Gregory Wells; sisters-in-law, Sharon, Bridgette, Terrilyn and Stephanie Wells; cousins, Doris Garrett, Olivia Hudson Smith, Anne Garrett (Noel) and Allen Smith (Yana); and lifelong friend, Michael Tyler (Cathy). He also leaves a host of loving family and friends.

Mr. Golden was preceded in death by daughter, Lynnette Gregory; deceased wife, Gloria J. Golden; grandparents, Ima and Harvey Johnson; parents, Ollie D. McKay and Roseanna and J.P. Matthews; aunt, Irma K. Hudson; and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Wells.

Funeral services for Mr. Golden will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at the Second Baptist Church, 2403 Snyder Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82001, with internment immediately following at Lakeview Cemetery in Cheyenne.
