Maria Aurora Trujillo, 90, of Cheyenne passed away peacefully April 16, 2017 at Life Care Center with family by her side.

She was born on November 14, 1926 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Thomas and Beatrice Rivera.

Maria married Antonio “Fred” Trujillo on August 7, 1944 in Las Vegas and they shared 60 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a homemaker.

Maria is survived by her sons, Fabian "Fabby" Trujillo and Johnny Trujillo, both of Cheyenne, and Jerry Trujillo of Loveland, CO.; her daughter, Helen Davila of Louisiana; and a sister, Emma Candelaria of Cheyenne; 9 grandchildren, Yvonne Elvenia, Anthony (Tania) Trujillo, Scott Trujillo, Aaron Trujillo, Leslie DeHerrera, Tyrone Trujillo, Isaac Trujillo, Carla (John) Martinez and Denise Dean; great-grandchildren, Demetrius, Brendan, Alexis, Aubrey, Megan, James, Brandon, Desirae, Cheyenne, Nicolette, Steven, Tracy, Damian, Xavier, Marcelo, Lance, Lawrence,Kyle and Cayla; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two grandsons, Ronnie Davila and Andy Davila and siblings.

Vigil for the Deceased will be 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Augustine Carrillo officiating.

Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Augustine Carrillo officiating.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Trujillo, Brendan Trujillo, Demetrius Elvenia, Aaron Trujillo, Xavier Davila and Damian Davila.
