Jean A. Hazen, 75, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Life Care Center of Cheyenne.
Jean was born March 19, 1942, in Yuba City, California, a daughter of the late Willis L. and Frieda P. (Class) Ullrey.
Jean worked numerous jobs at Amaco, the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle and Unicover. Her many interests included watching the Thunderbirds air demonstrations, visiting the Pacific Ocean and Redwood National Forest, genealogy, listening to country music, and watching old black and white television shows. She will be remembered as a kind-hearted and generous person who loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Jean is survived by her three children, Deborah Gebbard and husband, Bob, Paul Hazen and fiancée, Charie, and David Hazen and wife, Susan; brother, Buddy Ullrey; and 12 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Hazen; brother, Ernie Ullrey; and sister, Barbara Ullrey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, November 17, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Memorial Park Interment Center.
