Shirley F. Stiefvater, 68, of Cheyenne passed away September 8, 2017 at Davis Hospice Center, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born February 13, 1949 in Rock Springs, to Daniel and Cecelia Wilson. She married the love of her life, Norman Stiefvater, on July 18, 1970 in Rawlins, Wyoming. She taught at Dildine for over 20 years and loved all her kids. She loved camping, road trips, mowing the prairie, telling stories & cooking. She loved her family and spending time with them, especially her six grandchildren. Shirley was an incredible person who would go out of her way to help someone out. She will be dearly missed, but will make a wonderful angel.
She is survived by her husband, Norman of Cheyenne; children, Jennifer (Jeremy), Bryan (Heather) and Kelly (Boone); grandchildren, Josh, Jeff, Noah, Finley, Abby and Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
